Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog.

Since I was little, the health area caught my attention, that's why I wanted to be a dentist or a doctor. I also really liked museums, so being a historian caught my attention.

At the time of applying, I was not sure what to study, I was thinking of many completely different careers, for example: Engineering, Archeology and Dentistry. Finally, I learned a lot about the careers of my interest and I chose Dentistry since I always liked biology and because I would like to give back to the oral health of people in Chile in the future.


My experience at the University has been very good! I have learned many things. The negative is that I still do not know the environment of the university and also that I have to study much more compared to what I was studying at school 😔 .

In the future I would like to work in the public sector as a dental surgeon and after a while I would do a specialization that I have not thought of at the moment.

    Yes, now we have to study much more, but the bad thing is that it must be almost always in front of a computer :(

    I haven't thought about my specialty either, but working in the public sector will give you a lot of experience and maybe help you think about a specialty c:

Post graduate studies

Welcome to my blog again! Today I will talk about what postgraduate I would like to do in the future. I'm still not sure what specialty I would like to do but I have two options that catch my attention and they are: Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation. I would like to study one of those two specialties because both are quite similar and focus on returning a smile in a functional and aesthetic way to the patient. I would like to study my specialization abroad, preferably in a European country, like Germany or Italy because in addition to learning about my career, I would also be learning a new language and a new culture. Specifically, I would choose Europe because I quite like European culture and here are the oldest universities in the world. The way I would like to study would be with a part-time course so as not to overload myself with study. Thank you for reading! :)

Hello there! My name is Ignacia Amenábar , I´m eighteen years old. I was born in Santiago and all my family too.  I live in Padre Hurtado with my mother and my grandmother. I´m an only child and I like to be!                                                                         (Santiago, Chile) I did high school at the José Agustín Alfonso School and actually I study dentistry at the University of Chile. My hobby is playing the piano and collecting keyrings from different places, so they usually give me many keyrings hahaha. ( My little collection of keyrings)          I love to travel because I like to see the architecture and landscapes of places. I consider that one learns a lot by knowing other places and gains great experiences.                                                                      I really like rock music, especially from the 80s and 90s. My Favorite Piece of Technology

Hello! Today I will talk about my favorite piece of technology which is the cell phone. The first time I had a cell phone was 10 years old and it was one of those "clam" type. With that cell phone he could only call, take photos and play snake. Later, as technology advanced, the cell phone was essential for me. Now I have a more technological cell phone and I love it because I can use social networks, talk by video call with my friends, play games, listen to music and take many photos. I do most with my cell phone is use Instagram, watch videos on YouTube and talk with my friends. I usually use my cell phone a lot (every day) and I feel empty when I'm not with it. I have tried to use it less because it´s negative to be dependent on technology and it distracts you from doing other very important things like studying 😔. Now every time I study I turn off my cell phone and keep it out of my sight hahaha. Thank you for reading! 😊
